Ci sono due caratteristiche primarie che si rivelano critiche quando si sviluppano adesivi per la pelle : un forte fissaggio ed una rimozione delicata. Per la prima volta l'industria medicale avrà a disposizione una famiglia di prodotti che risponde ad entrambe queste caratteristiche.

La divisione prodotti medicali MACtac®  ha sfruttato i recenti sviluppi nella scienza dei polimeri e nella tecnologia adesiva per  espandere la propria gamma di adesivi. Questa espansione permette a  MACtac di offrire una serie completa di adesivi utilizzabili sia per applicazioni a lungo termine che per altre più leggere dove una   bassa aderenza è richiesta. Indipendentemente dalla forza di adesione, tutti gli adesivi sono formulati per una rimozione delicata.
Al di là della forza di adesione, questa tecnologia è personalizzabile e dispone di proprietà che consentono all'adesivo stesso di essere "personalizzato" e laminato anche su substrati particolari. Questi adesivi personalizzati possono essere accoppiati con  schiume, film o tessuti per soddisfare le vostre esigenze costruttive, fornendo tutte le specifiche di adesione iniziale, resistenza allo shear e di rimozione delicata e senza residui.

La piattaforma di prodotti medicali MACtac® dispone di tre gamme di adesione differenti : massima, media e leggera tenuta.  Attraverso questa piattaforma i converter possono contare su MACtac per una migliore progettazione  di sistemi adesivi che vengono testati secondo gli standard ISO 10993-5/-10 per l'irritazione della pelle, citotossicità e sensibilizzazione della cute.
